Facility Types
Model almost any type of residential, commercial, or industrial facility in MarketManager. Buildings can have up to 255 zones of up to 9,999,999 sqft/zone. Standard use profiles are provided for over 30 facility types, including banks, classrooms, hotels and motels, offices, retail sales, etc.
Scenarios
Compare multiple "what if" scenarios for your customer - replace existing lighting with more efficient fixtures, compare electric and gas-fired equipment, or compare standard and incentive rate schedules.
Energy Simulation
You can be confident in your results. All energy-using equipment is modeled on an hourly basis. Standard ASHRAE algorithms are used in heating and cooling load calculations for local weather conditions. The part load performance characteristics of all heating and cooling equipment are included. Accurately evaluate the cost impacts of your recommendations, including demand charges, load factors, ratchets, time-of-use variation, and other credits and adjustments.
Loads
MarketManager automatically calculates zone and system heating and cooling loads for you, breaking them down category by category.
Quality Control
MarketManager will review your data inputs and list any potential problems like missing or overlapping schedules, under or oversized cooling equipment, etc.
Template Projects & Libraries
Speed up the process of entering data for a customer's facility by using a pre-defined template project as well as libraries. Templates are typical buildings such as schools, offices, restaurants, retails, and residential. Use one of MarketManager's 11 pre-defined templates, or create your own templates specific to your business plan or service territory. MarketManager's libraries includes hundreds of appliances, lighting systems, HVAC equipment, building materials, and other data. You can tailor the libraries to fit your specific program needs.

With hundreds of items in MarketManager's libraries, you can quickly compare different lighting systems and controls, gas and electric water heaters, or standard and energy efficient process motors. Each piece of equipment can be precisely modeled with hourly operating schedules varying daily, weekly, and monthly. For a simple analysis, standard operating schedules are provided.
Reports and Graphs
With a push of a button, print reports of your analysis for customer presentation or in-house use. MarketManager includes over twenty standard reports formats as well as graphing capabilities.
