Optima is a software product developed and refined over many years to provide the necessary analysis and management information to achieve savings in energy costs and consumption.;Now available in Version 6, Optima is a client/server based Windows application that brings a new level of flexibility and performance to energy management software. User-defined fields and flexible targeting are just two of the innovative features.;There are four key energy management issues that can be addressed using a system such as Optima:-;Purchase energy at the lowest possible price, ;- through tariff selection and load management ; ;Ensure correct payment for energy purchased, ;- through invoice validation and Exception reporting; ;Use energy as efficiently as possible; ;- through Monitoring & Targeting and exception reporting; ;Promote Accountability ;- through the allocation of energy costs to management budgets; ;These are all addressed within Optima as part of the main system and its additional modules:- ;Optima is scalable to any level, with no limits on the number of Sites, Accounts, Invoices or Half Hourly Data to be managed. Optima can work with a choice of databases, such as Oracle, Interbase, or MS-SQL Server.
