Software for international use must be multi-lingual, multi-currency and multi-legislation.;Multi-lingual: While one language is usually used at amangement level and for communication between local branches as well as head office, communication with suppliers and customers at local level usually takes place in the local language. This means that the information system has to support several lanuages. Exact software is currently available in thirteen languages. New language versions are in development.;Multi-currency: Purchase and sales invoices can be entered and payments made in any foreign currency. Exchange differences are automatically calculated and accounted for. You can revalue outstanding items at current exchange rates. General ledger accounts kept in a foreign currency (e.g. bank accounts) can also be revalued as necessary. Cross currency functionality means that outstanding items can be written off in another foreign currency. Exchange rate differences can be posted automaically, if required, while taking positive and negative results into account.;Multi-legislation: 90% of the functionality of the Exact Group standard software meets local accounting practices and legislative requirements. The remaining 10% is adapted to local needs for, as an example, specific VAT completion and electronic payment procedures.
