SCHEDULE++ supports production scheduling, strategic and demand planning, scheduling and supply chain coordination. It offers a graphic planning board that can be used via drag and drop showing histograms, R/3 data browsers, tree views, individual scripts and gantt charts. Planning with SCHEDULE++ is very convenient and powerfull. It can be chosen to observe constraints or not on the fly and there is a strong library for a variety of resource types. Search for process orders is easy and for each material the required ressources and recipes can be shown. An MRCP run (extension of MRP II) can plan material and ressources at the same time with regard to a limited capacity. Thus one can optimise production and reduce operative costs considerably., When used together with SAP R/3, SCHEDULE++ does not need any own data structure but is fully integrated within R/3.
