Cycle Count Management System (CCMS) allows users to implement a workable cycle count progam based upon value classes. You may create one cycle count program for all warehouses or one cycle count program for each warehouse. Items may be classified based upon estimated annual usage, lead time and unit cost. Cycle count parameters include accuracy tolerances and count frequency. Up to 40 classes may be defined and count frequency can vary from once a year to daily. This system allows users to define a control group and/or any other special group(s). Value class code may be updated by CCMS based upon specific parameters. Entry of actual count is minimal, simple and efficient. Reason codes for inventory discrepancy may be entered. Statistics are collected by value class and reason code. The system will calculate inventory accuracy (count and dollars), track cycle count progress and its effectiveness.
