You Want Smart Schedules;Sentai's truly dynamic queue processing constantly re-orders tasks according to current situations. As pickers sign off each task the next task is assigned according to currently relevant criteria including; location, equipment, priority and access. For instance, if a primary bin is exhausted the next pick order for the SKU will fill the order and the bin so only one picker is redirected. Damaged goods can be logged during the pick process and diminish available stock accordingly. For shift scheduling Sentai's graphical task queue system analyzes the proposed order pool and optimizes picking activity based on pick rates, available equipment, human resources, and available inventory. Managers can model and control the days or shift's work through a Windows based dynamic view of resource allocation that effectively breaks down the current problems.;Tasks assigned include picking, put away, counting, intra-warehouse replenishment, product staging and task skipping where human intervention is required. Know who is currently logged on and look at queues by task type, if one is backing up, simply alter default queues to improve the balance.
