The introduction of new IT systems is usually associated with the optimisation of business processes. PSI Logistics has drawn on its many years of competence in optimising logistical processes when developing projects. These solid foundations guarantee unsurpassable
flexibility and optimal integration features with the PSIwms suite. in addition they offer far reaching benefits in terms of existing rationalisation and optimisation potential.
To smoothly coordinate logistical business processes with PSIwms,
standard interfaces form the basis of communication. They offer an
optimum integration of each system in existing IT landscapes as well as connections to a wide variety of standardised systems such as SAP R/3, PSIPENTA or other ERP systems. Similarly standardised interfaces are available for the connection with control systems (i.e. PLC). A noteworthy feature is the Application Objects Interface.
By using this interface application objects, external IT environments
or individual software add-ons are made available via the standardised
CORBA interface. PSIwms implements host connections via TCP/IP, NFS or XML. An advantage of this extensive standardisation is that short planning and implementation times ensure rapid availability.
In addition, a certified interface module is available specifically for integration of the standardised product PSIwms in SAP R/3 business processes. The functionality for the softwaremodule
is defined by the standard interaces WM-LSR and MM-MOB
from SAP.
