ProofMaster is the name given to DPInnovations RIP, which has been specifically developed for the textile industry. ProofMaster is a direct result of the knowledge and experiences gained by Dr. Wirth Software, GmbH in the supply of software and hardware solutions to the textile and decorative industry.ProofMaster has been designed to offer the user a complete solution to their proofing and sampling requirements, by creating prints which are an extremely close simulation of how the image would look when printed in production using a conventional screen printing machine.ProofMaster is the only RIP which accepts data from the traditional screen printing process, in order to create a proof which can be reliably used as a sample, prior to the customer confirming an order for production yardage. With other RIP software, the print is just that, an image which takes no account of the process of screen-printing.ProofMaster will modify the image taking in to account; the changes to gradation of tonal density, the type of screen being used for tones, the mixing attributes of the colors, the color order of the screens and any changes in printing detail due to the overall process.ProofMaster was specifically designed as a RIP (Raster Image Processor) so that it can take data from all CAD systems being used throughout the textile industry and not rely on data being prepared in a specific way from a proprietary system. ProofMaster can accept image data in the form of an indexed composite file or a set of production ready separation files, the latter obviously ensuring the proof is an even closer simulation of the production print.ProofMaster has also been developed using a unique and superior color calibration process. Any combination of pre-processing, fabric, ink and post-processing can be calibrated. The calibration process can be modified by the user to provide greater accuracy where needed, due to color changes experienced by steaming and/or heating.
