Initially developed about four years ago with a client having yarn store management problems: Keeping track of individual yarns in the yarn store. Accurate current yarn values between stock takes and monitoring yarn usage on work orders. The finished system allowed the client to address these issues. Since then the system has been extended to include dye bill and label printing, calculation of yarn losses, and yarn usage planning.
