Feature Spotlight: Scheduling
TMM features a robust drag and drop scheduling control center. You can generate forward finite, queued, and just-in-time scheduling for all your workstations and secondary operations. In fact, it’s easy to schedule all your jobs, at all levels, on just one screen. Within the scheduling control center, you can instantly see where sub-component and assembly jobs are scheduled. If you choose to reschedule a job on a different date or move it to another workstation, the scheduling control center will automatically reschedule all associated lower level jobs to help you meet your shipping dates. In addition, scheduling helps you gain visibility into machine setup and tear down times, preventative maintenance, tooling, and raw material shortages.
Feature Spotlight: Product Costing
With TMM, estimating costs is simple using the system’s manufacturing tables. You can quickly run a variety of different cost scenarios by indicating the quantity breaks and factoring in your data on multi-cavity and family molds, the percent of planned time expected to be used, the percent of regrind allowed in the process, and tooling within the tables. Once your initial quote or BOM is constructed, you can immediately view the level costs for your item. What’s more, you can track lower level costs for work-in-process, subcomponents, and/or parent-child items.
Bag and Film Processing
Whether you produce food storage bags, plastic film, merchandise bags, pouches, folding cartons, medical packaging, and/or other items, TMM has unique functionality to help you build quotes, capture costs, and managing inventory in different units of measure. We’ve designed our Quote Manager specifically for film extruders, flexographic printers, gravure printers, extrusion laminators, adhesive laminators, coaters, metalizers, slitters, bag and pouch makers and other similar processes. As a Bag and Film processor, you can use the quoting application to:
• Automatically calculate bag weight, area, number up, and index.
• Convert rolls to bags (films can be quoted both on roll or in converted bags).
• Capture costs and build quotes by process (extrusion, printing, slitting, etc.).
• Incorporate mill, width, length, side trim, header, lip, gusset, etc into quotes.
• Amortize setup costs across a production run.
• Easily retrieve quotes for multiple items, by customer, or sales representative.
• Ensure the correct selling price by using 'high/low' order margins.
• Create sales orders, inventory and customer records from quotes.
• Make selections for artwork, terms on the order and more.
