MicroMain Mobile, using Pocket PC devices, acts as an electronic work order clipboard, eliminating the need for paper-based work orders and inspections.
Mobile allows you to transmit work orders electronically to your maintenance technicians.
They complete tasks and update the work order at the point of work performance in the field or plant floor. At the end of a work shift, Mobile automatically updates the MicroMain database, eliminating the need to retype information entered on paper work orders.
With this module, maintenance staff can create new work orders on the fly, as they encounter additional work that needs to be done, and track start and stop times. MicroMain Mobile makes it easy to add parts and labor, too. In addition, technicians and supervisors can quickly enter comments on the handheld device.
MicroMain Mobile makes it easier to design and conduct any type of inspection. Maintenance staff can enter inspection data—including pass/fail, ratings, measurements, readings and asset conditions—or mark inspection points for follow-up. The software will automatically track failed inspection points, as well.
You can also save time with bar code scanning using Mobile. Scan a bar code on an asset, such as an air conditioner or a drill press, and your handheld device will display all work orders for the specific equipment. If no work orders exist, a new work order can be generated.
