Inspection Toolkit Suite
Together the Inspection Toolkit Suite simplifies, and automates programming as well as tasks on the shopfloor so programmers and machine operators both can concentrate on metrology and manufacturing process, not the Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM).
It is a 3-in-1 application which provides an inspection JobBuilder to define and package inspection related data for information rich interoperable environments and consuming applications such as InspectIt!. InspectIt! is an Inspection front-end wrapper to simplify the user interface and provide built-in checks and verifications to insure accuracy and assurance. Last but not least the suite includes a .dml graphical reporting solution allowing operators to fully understand the results of the inspection in only seconds.
JobBuilder® provides a "checklist" for CMM Programmers to package information and files for downstream inspection UI's such as InspectIt!. This is a very powerful application that provides the interface for the programmer to have full control over the entire inspection process for a shop-hardened rich experience for the CMM operator while handling downstream data consumers and meeting business requirements.
InspectIt! is the graphical user interface by which an unskilled CMM operator can enter information run CMM inspection programs. It also provides state of the art error trapping and automated recovery to help insure reliability and help maintain accurate results. InspectIt!® is a wrapper to Siemens Tecnomatix eMInspector© and other DME I++ enabled CMM software. InspectIt!® was developed to better support implementation and integration into new and existing inspection environments. InspectIt!® is a consumer of an "Inspection Job", or output generated by JobBuilder®.
DMLToolkit® is a dml reporting engine and graphical user interface. It displays graphical charting allowing users to quickly identify passing and failing tolerances as well as ones approaching critical process limits.
