Content Repository
SQL Server is the database component using a configurable data model. The application provides the user with the ability to add user-defined fields, enabling the publisher to manage multiple publications within a single content repository.
Editorial Application
The windows-based editorial interface enables the publisher to manage content in a single source environment. A single database record may be used in multiple publications or sections within a single publication.
Data Collection
The browser-based interface enables the content providers to update their content for publication or for prospective providers to submit a request for inclusion in your directory. Updates are staged for editorial review and approval prior to production release. Modifications made by the content provider are redlined for easy review by the editorial team.
Workflow Management
Manages and routes content management tasks through the editorial and production process.
Security
User and role-based security is provided.
Administrative Management
The user has the ability to manage and update authority tables for use throughout the system.
Extract Engine
XML is extracted from the database application and transformed with the use of style sheets for distribution to print production or web delivery.
