Direct Folders makes your life easier with the following enhancements:



* It can make any window Always-On-Top. You can "pin" any window to the desktop and prevent it from being covered by another windows. The Rollup button leaves only title bar visible, and uncovering what was underneath it.



* It automatically resize all the normal file dialogs. Direct Folders can {expand} Open and Save dialogs on a large desktops.




* It quickly takes you to recently used and favorite folders. Direct Folder's popup menus track folders you've used recently and give you fast access to your favorite folders from the standard file dialogs and system tray icon.




* It set up a default folder for any or all applications. Direct Folders also can automatically switch to Details view and set keyboard focus to the file list.




* It "rebounds" back to the last item that you opened in a folder. You no longer have to browse through the file listing for a particular document you were working on before - the list scrolls to the last opened file.




* It shows you where you are. Direct Folders Info Panel is floats over standard file boxes and shows full path to the opened folder. It lets you see available disk space and switch between disks.



* It opens folders for you in the Explorer. When you really need to do more with a file or folder, Direct Folder tell the Explorer to open the folder shown in an Open or Save dialog.




* It gives you access to windows you have open in the Explorer. The Recent folders popup menu contains path to the folder opened in the Explorer. Selecting it from the menu switches the file dialog to that folder.
This menu also shows link to the file in the Windows Clipboard. You can select either file itself or it's folder.
