WhiteNet has been conceived to satisfy the various demands of temporary work and brokerage agencies. ;While designing WhiteNet, particular attention has been devoted to the trade off between two requirements appearing as contradictory: on one side, the need of a safe running of the system and protection of data; on the opposite side, the need of a transparent system in which data are easily available to authorised users.;One series of modules covers the needs of the evaluation and search phase for staff. Particularly, with its appropriate functions, the system is capable of acquiring data on "employees" and the requests of firms via Internet. ;Another series of modules is designed to fit the needs of the management phase for work reports: composing and managing of contracts, final balance and check of `presence sheets', computation and printing of invoices.;WhiteNet can work both in the classical Client/Server architecture and the innovative service of Application Services Providers (ASP).
