Additional Product Information
The QMAP process mapping software suite is broken into four products:, QMAP Lite is a standalone package especially aimed at small businesses who wish to support or achieve ISO 9001:2000 yet don't want an expensive tool that is packed with features they are never going to use.. QMAP Lite allows the full hierarchical construction of process maps with the ability to create diagrams from text only, without the need for drawing objects by hand. QMAP only has one diagram object, the activity box, so there is no need to use multiple diagram shapes. QMAP Lite allows attachments to be connected to activities in a process, so you can quickly link forms, databases and multimedia to activities. Unlike other applications, QMAP Lite has been created from the ground up to be used for controlling your processes and has unique features including a master control list and diagram changes log., QMAP Professional builds on the advanced process mapping features of QMAP Lite, and provides you with even greater power over your quality system. QMAP Professional is a multi user system, allowing for many users with different rights to be able to view processes, associate memos to diagrams and e-mail process creators. Once your processes have been created in Professional, you can then use the advanced control features to track diagram changes, automatically notify users of changes and block access to diagrams for certain users. Using the fully featured Analysis, Planning and Costing tools, you can see exactly how much your processes cost your organisation, and suggest What If? scenarios to increase process efficiency., The QMAP Web Publisher is an extra module for QMAP Professional that allows your process maps to be exported to HTML format, so you can integrate them with your existing intranet or extranet. All existing diagram elements are converted, allowing access to forms, databases, multimedia and other processes through your web browser from any point in the world., The Auditor is a stand alone application designed to work alongside either QMAP Lite or QMAP Professional. The Auditor allows the import of process maps and supporting documentation, which can have audit questions raised against tasks. The auditor allows for non conformances, corrective actions, potential improvements and comments to be associated with activities and other items in an audit. Audits can be scheduled and stored according to version. Finally, a comprehensive reporting facility is available, with full HTML export. By including the facility to audit external documentation, you can even undertake audits against suppliers or other third party organisations that do not have their procedures in QMAP format.
