Panorama is an integrated suite of applications which support schedule, cost and resource management in multi-project environments. The suite has 3 main elements:;· Panorama Program Manager - is a central, Oracle based, repository for all project data. It provides cost, schedule and resource information for work packages (parts of projects), projects, groups of projects and for a programme as a whole.;Access to information can be via printed and graphical reports or by interactive enquiries - all options being available using web browsers on the Internet or corporate intranet.;It also maintains a central resource register for all staff (whether full time or contract) including their skills, project assignments and availability. ;· Microsoft Project - the project planning and resource management tool for stand-alone projects. The functionality of Microsoft Project 2000 has been expanded, extended and enhanced to facilitate the consolidation of stand alone project schedules, resource assignments and requirements into the corporate program;· Panorama Time Accounting - this web based module enables staff to enter timesheets and supervisory staff to authorise bookings to their projects and departments. Project costs and progress are automatically updated.
