Simply Project Office is made up of 10 tools which can be combined in a 'pick and mix' manner for implementation. Prices range from £200 to £800 for the initial licence plus an annual support fee of between 15% and 25% of the initial licence fee, dependent upon the number of concurrent users.
The Mundane Software Company can operate SPO as a service to you so that you do not have to worry about acquiring and supporting a web server. This can be as an ASP (where you own the software licence) or as Software as a Service (where you rent the software). In both cases it is fully supported.
MSC also offers Tutor-led 'hands on' training and consultancy to get you up and running.

SPO is not a replacement for, or alternative to, a good scheduling tool nor does it offer Project Accounting, but it addresses those tiresome tasks that every project manager faces in the administration of projects.
It helps you to support structured methodologies, but is not inextricably linked to any one in particular.
