Additional Product Information
SafetyNet Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) from Hitech Systems is a multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional computer-aided dispatch system for police, fire, sheriff, and EMS agencies. SafetyNet CAD utilizes color coding, windowing, and multiple screen displays to detail unit status and call taking activities. This clean user interface makes it easy to access needed information and to put it to use immediately. SafetyNet CAD includes Call Entry, Pending Calls, Active Calls, Active Units, and Unit Status windows.;SafetyNet CAD uses a geocoded database to verify addresses and place names and displays information about premise history, hazardous materials, and emergency locations. When connected to a suitable database, automatic searches of names, addresses, drivers licenses, vehicle licenses, and other information may be performed to identify wanted persons, outstanding warrants, and other vital data.;SafetyNet CAD provides call takers and dispatchers with many special features including:;l Automatic unit recommendation by call type and location that provides for near instantaneous dispatch of the most appropriate units.;l Multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional support allows for centralized dispatching across geographic, jurisdictional and political boundaries. SafetyNet CAD supports police, fire, sheriff, ambulance, and other service agencies concurrently. The system supports car plans and beat/patrol zone concepts for added versatility and adaptability. This is well suited to regional dispatch centers and allows costs associated with hardware and software to be amortized over a larger population base.;l Fire/EMS run card windows and the ability to recommend fire apparatus move ups. This makes important information readily available such as hydrant locations, cross streets, and map coordinates, and allows fire agencies maximum flexibility to reposition units on-the-fly.;l Simple integration with county, state, and federal terminal network systems, enhanced 911, mobile data, automated mapping, alphanumeric pagers, and tone encoders. These optional packages are available from Hitech Systems.;SafetyNet CAD provides the fastest transaction processing speeds in the industry, and the fastest updates of real-time information, such as call and unit statuses. It provides multi-user access to the same incidents, allowing call takers and dispatchers to update the same incident at the same time.;SafetyNet CAD allows on-the-fly changes to both programming and database structure without interfering with dispatch activities, a claim few CAD vendors can make.;SafetyNet CAD is multi-lingual, easily integrates with other public safety software and is part of a family of public safety products from Hitech Systems.
