Additional Product Information

One of the main advantages of SafetyNet public safety software from Hitech Systems is that its modular nature allows for easy expansion through seamless integration with external devices, foreign databases, and other applications. Interfaces can be installed when SafetyNet CAD is initially configured, or they can be added later as requirements change, or as new equipment or systems are added.;In addition to commonly procured interfaces such as SafetyNet E-911 Interface, SafetyNet Message Switch Interface, and SafetyNet Mapping Interface (each described separately), Hitech Systems also offers other interfaces including:;SafetyNet Emergency Medical Dispatch Interface - Provides direct access from SafetyNet CAD to ProQA Advanced EMD Software from Medical Priority Consultants. ProQA, developed by Dr. Jeff J. Clawson, M.D., is an expert system which automatically takes the dispatcher through interactive EMD menus based upon a caller's responses to questions, ensuring 100% compliance to protocol. Based on the call taker's responses to the ProQA protocol, SafetyNet CAD will automatically recommend the most appropriate unit and dispatch response level.;SafetyNet Mobile Computing - Provides direct access to CAD, RMS, and Message Switch (NCIC) data for mobile computers over a variety of communications equipment and computer systems. Hitech can also integrate AVL equipment for automatic updating of vehicle locations.;SafetyNet Zetron Tone Encoder Interface - Provides an active interface between SafetyNet CAD and Zetron Model 25 tone encoders. This is used to alert fire stations to the dispatch of units from their station and perform common activities such as controlling PA systems, turning on lights, turning off stoves, and raising the doors. It is also used to activate pagers and other radio equipment with tone decoders.;SafetyNet Zetron Station Status Interface - Provides an active interface between SafetyNet CAD and Zetron Model 6/26 station status systems. In addition to the features of the Tone Encoder Interface, the Station Status Interface allows fire units to update their statuses in CAD.;SafetyNet Alphanumeric Paging Interface - Provides an active interface between SafetyNet CAD and alphanumeric paging encoders. SafetyNet CAD will automatically relay user-defined incident information to pagers associated with dispatched units as well as other designated pagers. Dispatchers can also send any text message to one or more pagers at any time.;Hitech Systems has developed numerous custom interfaces including connections to foreign databases, communications subsystems, other vendors' dispatch and records management systems, and other client applications. This allows users to maximize their investment in their SafetyNet software modules.;Hitech Systems has the technical staff to assist you with the design and specification of interfaces to meet your specific needs.
