Additional Product Information

The CODY System is an integrated information processing system designed to address the unique file linking structures needed to easily enter and efficiently retrieve law enforcement records. CODY Software takes full advantage of the relational database aspects of Oracle's Client/Server Architecture. The Oracle database provides a reliable offset to the newer more feature-rich nature of a GUI environment. It is a good marriage of a market-hardened database with cutting-edge 21st century technology. , The Cody6 System makes the day-to-day collection and organization of the vast amount of records information a straightforward process for the operator. Screens present a consistent design, so that once training is complete, the operator feels confident in using the system. The CodyLink technology uses a relational database coupled with an event-driven GUI design to provide the department with screens that are easy to use and a database that is reliable and powerful. The system design optimizes throughput ensure a timely response when entering and retrieving information. , Incident Data sheets , Incident Data sheets show all related file information including: All involved and arrested parties, businesses, vehicles, property, citations, and narrative(s). The operator can even request an event history log (radio log) from the original dispatch record. , Names Data sheets , Constructed in the same manner as the Incident Data sheets. Names Data sheets provide a single focal point where all of the information collected for an individual is assembled and produced. This includes photos, fingerprints, arrests, known associates, case involvements, etc. , File Relations, As file relations are built, an agency can use the stored data when responding to calls for service. For example, if a call is received concerning suspected vandalism at facility number one, a request from CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch) produces an immediate response from the RMS (Records Management System). A list of all previous activity at that location is generated with access to any listed record, showing alerts on weapons and hazardous material. Simultaneously, the GEO file provides additional data specific to the location for the dispatching of Emergency equipment. Similarly, a name can be searched in the RMS for active warrant notices (restraining orders), as well as for alerts on unknown offenders, known resistors and the presence of weapons. The dispatch alert flags persons who either need special assistance or are particularly dangerous.
