Master.Scribe is an integrated suite of OSS solutions that enables Eftia customers to master their mission-critical business and operations processes, reduce the time to market of services, and lower overall operational costs. The suite provides comprehensive order provisioning and fulfillment; problem management; telecom circuit and asset inventory management; and Internet protocol (IP) address and telephone number management. Eftia also offers a configurable OSS interconnection gateway.

Number Track—manages all aspects of stand-alone IP address assignment and number validation, plus telephone number, calling card, account and PIN assignment
Service Order—facilitates start to finish order fulfillment and comprehensive management of service requests and associated tasks
Maintenance—enables proactive trouble management and preventive maintenance, including remote entry and trouble-ticket status through Web-enabled interface
Optional Features Master.Scribe can be tailored to your company's specific needs with the addition of optional features including billing integration, workforce management, Web ordering and a separate Eftia OSS Interconnection gateway.
Features and Functionality:
Enhanced Interoperability: Master.Scribe's comprehensive suite of CORBA IDL API's, which enable key components of Master.Scribe's business functions to easily integrate with external applications, have been extended to enable the integration of Master.Scribe's order management capabilities with external order entry and provisioning systems such as customer relationship management, customer self-serve web, service activation, etc. APIs reduce cost and lead-time of integration, reduce service provisioning costs and errors, and improve operational efficiency through integrated access to customer information.
Extended Inventory Management: Wireless specific inventory management enables wireless service providers to model and manage all elements of their network structure, including those unique to wireless.
More Efficient, Intuitive User Interface: Streamlined order entry improves CSR efficiency, reduces training times and call durations, and provides increased flexibility for rapid and low cost management of service packaging. Additionally, integration with NetViz allows complex inventory data to be visually represented, and therefore more quickly and easily comprehended.
Improved Product Integration: Service Order and Maintenance integration enables users to quickly access all customer information, including open service orders and trouble tickets, from both Service Order and Maintenance control panels. Improved integration increases CSRs' knowledge of customers, resulting in greater customer satisfaction.
