· By defining real-time alarms, the system can detect fraudulent use while calls are in progress, based on information from the C7 signalling network. The alarm definitions are completely flexible and can include variables such as call duration, calls to suspected areas, calls from suspected areas, subscription types, etc. ;· CDRs arriving from for example switches can be searched for suspicious data and alarms raised in semi-real-time.;· Aggregates can add all calls from subscribers per week or month to detect, for example, extensive calling adding up to large costs. ;· The subscriber profiling facility builds profiles for each individual subscriber using the network. The profiles contains key measures such as accumulated call time, call cost and number of calls. An alarm is raised as soon as subscribers deviate from their normal behaviour.
