GENERIS CMS includes modern tools for forecasting continuously changing sales volumes, for follow-up the balance between sales and procurement and for analysing the profitability of the energy trade.
GENERIS CMS provides tools for management of sales and purchase contracts that are based on hourly measurements or group-specific load profiles. Also offers and different wholesale block contracts can be easily managed in the system. Contracts can be freely grouped according to your portfolio management needs, for example by contract type, product group, customer group or area.
GENERIS CMS offers an ultimate suite of reporting tools for energy trade planning and supporting important decision-making. All reports are based on real-world measurements and fresh contract data. For example, the following reports are available: sales forecasts, total sales, energy purchase, net position, profitability analyses and offers.
Results are displayed both in easy-to-read graphs and numeric tables, and can be easily exported to other external systems and Windows applications.
One of the most essential tasks in contract management is to produce reliable long term sales forecasts for supporting energy procurement planning and hedging. Versatile GENERIS calculations taking e.g. measurements from hourly measured metering points, user-configurable load profiles for private customers and validity periods defined for contract data into account guarantee efficient management of varying sales volumes.
From the very first code snippet written to the current version, GENERIS CMS is designed to scale from the needs of small energy companies to the needs of large international groups. The enhanced database model, tools for efficient handling of time series data and grouping functions for private customer contracts provide the power, flexibility and scalability essential for effective contract management also in large systems. Thanks to modular applications and open architecture, the system solution can be customized according to customer-specific needs. The functionality of the system can also be expanded for the contract management needs of other energy sectors such as district heating, gas and water.
