LogXact 5 – Exact Logistic Regression
In many ways, exact logistic regression (predicting binary outcomes from a set of predictor variables) is a natural extension of the nonparametric tests and confidence intervals in StatXact. The asymptotic approximations used in conventional logistic regression can be notoriously prone to error. Exact logistic regression avoids these errors, but exact logistic regression is a very difficult computational problem – most popular statistical software packages do not offer it. SAS® offers limited exact logistic regression functionality, but neither it nor any other program comes close to LogXact’s capabilities. LogXact solves more problems, and solves them faster than any other exact logistic regression software.
