Additional Product Information
TPS/NFM is responsible for the management of the transmission of data from a source location to a target location. NFM allows a user to customize this process through the use of transmission plans. Transmission plans detail the types of transfer, the files to be transferred, the nodes involved, and various other control factors. A single server or multiple servers can be configured depending on the complexity and capacity of the network. The configuration and management of the file transmissions within the network are easily manipulated by authorized personnel using a browser interface and/or a UNIX character mode interface. NFM also has the capability of handling multiple protocols to include SNA, Bisynch, and TCP/IP.It is available for AIX, Linux, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, SCO, NT, Windows 9x and 2000, IBM 4680/4690, and S/390.
