Technical informationˇ ;Brown's DNMobile PC software runs under Microsoft Windows 95 and Window 98 and is implemented as a dial-up adapter. Support for Microsoft Windows NT version 4 is available as part of DNAccess.ˇ The GSM digital standard uses V.110 rate adaption at 9600 bps. A single Brown's DNMobile solution can support a maximum of 100 users. With external ISDN terminal adapters, up to eight can be in on-line communication and the others in off-line mode awaiting a reconnection. With a digital leased line connections the number of on-line connections can be doubled. Higher capacity and concurrency is available with Brown's DNAccess, including support for primary rate ISDN and SNA.;Suitable charge rate tables are available for each network to assist in shorthold strategy.;The host LAN system in unaware that users are in an off-line state - other than through an increased duration for some transmissions.;Data is compressed and can then be encrypted and authenticated before transmission using DESX with an equivalent 90-bit key or triple DES with a 112-bit key. Low-level end-to-end error correction is standard.ˇ Host system connections supported: IP (and SNA as part of DNAccess)
