Additional Product Information
TPS/RJE is a full-featured Remote Job Entry (RJE) implementation for popular UNIX platforms -- including IBM AIX, HP-UX, Digital UNIX, Sun Solaris, and SCO UnixWare7. RJE is a time-proven technology for batch-oriented connectivity beween an upstream host and downstream printers or other devices at remote locations. TPS/RJE emulates an IBM 3777 model 4 card punch/reader, providing high-speed, high-volume data trasfer between a primary mainframe system and a secondary UNIX system., TPS/RJE communicates with RJE subsystems on the mainframe such as JES or POWER, funning under MVS or DOS/VSE. It supports JES, JES2, JES3, POWER/VSE, RSCS and SUPERTRACS., TPS/RJE is an excellent solution when RJE functionality is required on distributed UNIX platforms. It both protects legacy RJE investments while substantially improving RJE usability. Many cliets are also using TPS/RJE as a cost-effective, high-speed file transfer mechanism between systems in SNA-dominated WANs.
