Protekt Encryption software is a full-strength Java implementation of TLS version 1(including backwards compatibility with Netscape's SSL protocol version 3). It enables secure communications, e-commerce solutions and virtual private networks (VPN's) over public networks. Protekt can add secure communications to any Java 2 software that uses TCP/IP sockets for communication. This includes applets and distributed applications built using Remote Method Invocation (RMI).
