NetCurefs patented intelligent multi-layer auto-discovery engine
accurately and rapidly discovers applications, servers, systems and
network devices. NetCure discovers both physical and logical network
topology including routers, switches, chassis, slot, port, interface and VLAN configurations. NetCurefs highly parallel auto-discovery engine scales easily to the largest enterprises, building an accurate topology model of the business infrastructure environment. Furthermore, NetCure continuously monitors and detects any changes to the environment and automatically updates its topology model to reflect the changing environment, ensuring perpetual consistency and accuracy of the topology.

NetCurefs distributed event management architecture can be deployed
centrally or distributed across regional or divisional boundaries giving superior flexibility and control to administrators. NetCure can collect, de-duplicate, normalize and consolidate events from multiple sources either to a centralized location or to regional or divisional locations.
By associating the events to objects in its topology model, NetCure accurately and in real-time correlates events with affected components, business services and customers. NetCure then automatically identifies events according to customer or business priorities.
Intelligent Root Cause Analysis
NetCurefs intelligent root cause analysis engine rapidly and accurately pinpoints the source of a problem generating a single root cause event and suppressing all symptomatic events. NetCurefs correlation engine uses the discovered application & network topology information to correlate events in real-time and accurately determine the root cause of network or application failure.
For example, it can tell you which port or interface is unavailable, or whether the application failure is the result of a particular process being unavailable or a network connectivity failure.
