You are the Administrator of a large, networked server environment, running business critical services for your company and your customers. You only have one pair of hands and one pair of eyes. You can only be at one place at a time. Let ServGuard help you run your service. Set up ServGuard to monitor your networked servers and services: - Let ServGuard perform HealthChecks on your system. As soon as your server is unavailable (due to a system crash, networking problems, unavailable ports,...), ServGuard lets you know. - Put a Watchdog on your services. As soon as a service doesn't respond anymore, ServGuard lets you know. - Have ServGuard continuously inspect your systems' logfile (system logs, protocol logs,...) for specific messages. As soon as a predefined message appears, ServGuard will warn you. - Let ServGuard keep an eye on system critical files. As soon as something changes in these files (while this shouldn't happen), ServGuard will inform you. - Have ServGuard monitor your systems' Heartbeat. As soon as your system doesn't perform optimally anymore (as defined by your preset values), ServGuard lets you know. - Have ServGuard proactively test your system, perform the actual actions on your system (transactions, log-ins, searches,...). When an action doesn't work, ServGuard notifies you. Whenever something happens to your system, ServGuard will let you know: -ServGuard will send a SMS message to your mobile phone, and/or anybody else within your organisation, for instant notification. -ServGuard will send an e-mail notification. -You can read the status of ServGuard monitored system on a Web-based control panel. Have it on your pc as an 'Active Desktop' item. -Have ServGuard automatically restart your service, when something happen. Your service will never appear to be offline. -Or send a particular, custom code via SMS to ServGuard. ServGuard will authenticate you through the use of your mobile phone number, and perform a certain action according to the code in the SMS message. Have it restart the service, reboot the server, switch to another database,... remotely! -Consult the ServGuard logfiles and statistics to get an indepth view of your systems' problems. -Or have ServGuard e-mail you the encrypted logfiles for further examination.
