ChipStore;ChipStore is a program module safely storing and;handling electronic signatures and authentications, to be used for Netscape;browsers capable for storing digital signatures and handling the encrypting;cards enhanced with the cryptographic module.;Its task is the safe storage of authenticated;signature keys and its own key or, in the case of crypto cards, even the;communication with the encrypting module.;It performs those tasks by protecting its own;key and the Certificate from unauthorized access, storing them not on the;hard disk but in a safe smart card environment. In case of using a crypto;card, not only the guarding and storage but also the encrypting and the;signature is provided by the card.
