Speaker Verification for Robust User Authentication;Robust user authentication is a requirement for e-commerce, remote access, and the distribution of intellectual property across computer networks. Today, biometric techniques - verification based on a biological trait-have been recognized as a key component in the security system of the future. And speaker verification-because it uses universally available microphones or telephones is the most cost-effective biometric technology. ;VeriVoice has developed and patented enabling speaker verification technology that runs on any Microsoft Windows 95, Windows NT, or UNIX based computer.
