Additional Product Information

Pegasus gives you a complete view of both application performance and network health from a single unified Web console, integrated server and multifunctional agent. ;Pegasus Application Monitor gives you a user's view of application performance. It passively monitors the performance of end-user transactions, so that you can identify, prioritize, isolate, and diagnose application performance problems. It tells you if an application on a particular desktop is being constrained by the client, the network, or the server so that you can deal with these problems before your end-users are even aware of them. In addition, you can monitor key system statistics to see how they are affecting application performance.;Pegasus Network Monitor gives you an end-to-end view of the performance and health of the network. It tells you if the network is causing an application to slow down and identifies which network segment is causing the performance degradation. It uses active application flows of known transactions to determine if a particular network connection is constraining performance. This gives you an apples-to-apples comparison of network performance that is independent of the variable end-user production's transactions. This provides you with a prioritized set of performance statistics to troubleshoot network problems effectively, trend network performance and measure service level agreements.
