Additional Product Information

Fleet operators face many daily challenges in managing their fleets in satisfying their key objective(s) that all of their units are performing their assigned tasks. These challenges arise from the fleet managers trying to minimize the operating cost of each unit. The fleet manager must track for each unit:

Acquisition cost
Depreciation expense
Training expense
Repair and maintenance cost
Operation cost
Unit downtime expense
Obsolescence
Inventory carrying cost
Disposal cost

Aside from the acquisition costs, these items are constantly changing over the life of the unit. A fleet manager needs to have a good insight on the day-to-day activities, while having enough information to perform strategic planning. Early software systems helped fleet manager gather and retrieve
information. The current generation solutions now massage the data and translate it into information covering projections, cost comparisons, and analysis on an up-to-the-minute basis.

EntarusTM is our fleet management solution. It is based on the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE). The J2EE platform provides the capabilities necessary to develop complete, stable, secure, and fast solutions. User access EntarusTM via a standard web browser, eliminating the need to install and administer any desktop software or browser
plug-ins on users' computers.
