ROADVision is a fully integrated, enterprise level, transportation management system designed to meet the information and logistics needs of today's LTL and Truckload carriers. It is written in Visual Basic and uses Microsoft's SQL Server as its database engine. ROADVision provides rating and billing, tariff management, dispatching, tracing, accounts receivable, interline payables, document imaging, claims and OS&D, EDI, fuel tax, and driver settlement all totally integrated in an easy-to-use application. There are seamless interfaces to ALK's PC*Miler route optimization and mapping applications, the Rocky Mountain D83 Division Sheet, and the USPS AIS Zip Code database, along with integration to a number of widely-used general ledger programs. There are built-in faxing, emailing, and Web-based login capabilities as well. ROADVision is available in true client-server or ASP options and is suitable for companies with up to 1,000 trucks, running local or long haul, operating from single or multiple terminals.
