CAPE PACK
The CAPE PACK Palletizing Group is a simple and practical program for solving pallet loading problems. Within a few seconds of entering your data you can view a range of on-screen diagrams and reports so finding the right solution is easy.
Quickly see if you can get more cases onto a pallet. Interlock layers, show strapping, add top caps, corner posts, edit layers, show contents and put graphics onto cases. Or, create pallet loads containing different products for in-store display purposes and consumer shopability.
Consolidate your case sizes. Using the program's database enter existing case and tray sizes to find ways to pack existing products in to fewer case sizes.
The CAPE PACK Arrange Group is designed to help maximize the number of fixed size primary packages loaded on a pallet. This program will arrange a number of primary packages together and then calculate the new case, which is, in turn, palletized.
You specify the shape and size of the primary package, whether you want the product inside the primary package, how many you want in an arrangement, and if necessary, how the primary package should be bundled in groups within the arrangement. Running an analysis for each type of object will work essentially the same, however the data for the primary package will be crucial in creating the new case solutions.
The CAPE PACK Design Group can help you determine how to maximize the number of primary packages on the pallet, while looking at new sizes for those primary packages. The Design Group will calculate a new size for the primary packages and then evaluate various arrangements of them. It will then calculate a case size based on that arrangement. Subsequently, the new case is palletized for shipping.
The customer specifies the shape of the primary package, a starting size, how much it can vary in size, as well as how many you want in an arrangement and, if necessary, how the primary package should be bundled in groups within the arrangement. The primary package can be a box, bag, bottle, cylinder, oval or trapezoid or any shape created in the Make a New Shape Feature.
Calculate the compression strength of corrugated cases using standard or custom formulas.
