TOPS (Total Optimization Packaging Software) Pro was designed to help the Packaging Engineer create optimal package design and pallet patterns. TOPS Pro can also be used to calculate package size, package configuration, stacking strength, and truck configuration. In addition, TOPS Pro uses a real time online graphical display to let the user enter a host of primary package types, including custom shapes. The user can see what is being designed while it happens via this graphic engine. TOPS Pro can design new containers based on the user’s limits, or use values already specified by the user – in a host of container types. With TOPS Pro, the Packaging Engineer can oversee all steps of the package design from idea to final presentation. The software helps answer these questions:
How many boxes can I fit onto this pallet and what's the best pallet pattern to use?
How can I cut shipping/freight and packaging costs?
How can I safely store my packaged product in the warehouse?

MixPro is a module available within TOPS Pro used for creating mixed product loads for display. MixPro offers a 'virtual' staging area to create mixed pallets. With seamless integration with TOPS Pro, shipcase dimensions can be taken from TOPS Pro or entered 'on the fly' into the MixPro module. Giving the user the ability to 'drag and drop', choose which side of the shipcase is the vertical dimension, and automatic footprint calculation for the best layer pattern, MixPro offers all of the tools needed to create efficient and functional mixed pallet loads for display.
