Without changing any application source, object or executable files, RootCause can trace execution, log data, capture nanosecond timing and monitor memory usage. You define the information you want; RootCause can get data not available through other tools. RootCause works on third-party applications--no access to source is needed--and can trace all components of an application, even external Java RMI clients on a remote JVM and an app server clustered across multiple JVMs. Tracing can also cross JNI boundaries, so legacy C code can be traced as well as the Java application.
