ImageGear for .NET provides over 500 methods and properties focused on the imaging features developers need. For example, the ART namespace allows users to annotate any image loaded into ImageGear. Developers can create, load, edit and save an image into a separate file in legacy .ART file format or .XML file format.
Enhanced PDF support provides the ability to read and write PDF v1.6 documents and PostScript 3.0 Language, Level 3, including writing of Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) files with standard and extended preview.
OCR, ICR, OMR and Barcode capabilities are available with an optional add-on component. The OCR engine has 2 pre-made voting interfaces and direct access to 3 leading OCR engines (MOR, MTX and FireWorX). This improved OCR accuracy makes applications more productive, and provides the ability to perform OCR on more types of documents faster and with fewer errors.
