Additional Product Information
TPS/PCA (Protocol Conversion Application) is a high funcion UNIX-based gateway and protocol converter between SNA devcies and a TCP/IP network. PCA has been deployed by banks to manage legacy SNA-based ATMs connecting to mainframes through TCP/IP networks. Third party applications may utilize PCA's simple TCP/IP sockets interface to access data from multiple SNA secondary and primary PUs and LUs, including Cross-Domain connections. PCA takes the SNA date, converts it to TCP/IP, sends it to the host, takes the return data and converts it from TCP/IP to SNA and sends it to the originating system. It is available to run on AIX, Sun Solaris, HP, and Linux operating systems.
