With Dyna-Q's Intelliwizard software, anyone can make wizards with ease!
Wizards break tasks into a series of simple steps using a familiar interface consisting of a question and Next and Back buttons. This interface can have the same question and answer conversation with your customer that you would. Each question asked is dependent upon the answers to the previous questions until enough information exists to solve the problem.
For example, to answer the question, "what cell phone should I buy," both the human cell phone expert and the Intelliwizard wizard would respond the same way, by asking what the customer needs. Is price important? Is coverage important? If coverage is important, does it need to be nation wide? Questions are asked and answered until a recommendation can be made.
To take the example a step farther, suppose that the cell phone expert is overwhelmed with the number of people that ask her this same question every day. To lighten her load, she buys Dyna-Q's Intelliwizard software. Using the Designer, she creates a flow chart of the logic she uses to answer the question. She also creates list of all the cell phones and their properties. In just one night, she creates a wizard that her customers can access through their web browser to answer their questions when she is busy. And using Intelliwizard templates, she designs the look and feel of the wizard so that it blends in with her existing website.
In addition to delivering her wizard over the internet using Intelliwizard's Java-based servlet, she could run her wizard using a stand-alone windows program. Or, if she also happened to be a computer programmer, she could control the wizard as a component of her program, allowing her to keep a visual representation of the logic behind the wizard.
