Additional Product Information
Prospero Extended Pascal allows a wide range of users to generate programs for the Windows NT and Windows 95/98 environments. The Extended Pascal language is defined in ISO and ANSI standards, and is upward-compatible from the "classic" definition. The Prospero implementation provides the full Extended Pascal language, together with Object Oriented additions separately published by the ANSI committee as a Technical Report, and object-style exception handling. There is a substantial library of routines that allow Pascal programs to use Win32 features such as graphics, threads and memory-mapped files, and API functions can also be called directly. The Workbench development environment provides easy access to the compiler, linker, debugger and other underlying items, which can also be used independently.
