Write and Edit Code
Focusing on the main areas of implementing software, ES Architect provides powerful facilities for creating and editing source code. For example, you can import an existing BQY as the starting point of your project, locate syntactical elements such as variables, objects, properties and functions very easily, search and replace, backtrack and undo, control indentation, layout and the color display of your syntax.
Real Time Interactive Test and Debug
You can interact with your source code in real time as it is executed by Brio Intelligence. You can set and step through break points, examine and set the state of your variables and Brio's object model properties while Brio is running. You can change your JavaScript and immediately retest it.
Code Management
Because the source code is held externally, it can be managed like other individual application source code. It can be turned into libraries and shared through a dynamic Include mechanism, it can be placed under source control for powerful configuration management purposes.
