Additional Product Information
eTools are the keys that unlock the eCity eMpower technology. The eTools adaptive web technology workbench accelerates a customer specific deployment of Slingshot's eCity modules and reduces ongoing system maintenance costs. eTools can also be used in a non-eCity environment to extend your existing applications by quickly creating and deploying entire web applications and add-on modules. The eMpower technology environment that forms the framework for the entire Slingshot eCity Enterprise e-Business Software suite. eTools provides an active repository which greatly accelerates Web development and reduces ongoing system maintenance costs. The secret to eTools is found in how it leverages the combination of; OOP(Object Oriented Programming), role definition/span of control, data control and encapsulation and inheritance to build applications. Applications created with eTools are defined as a hierarchy of web pages. You simply define the information which must be maintained on each page along with edits, business rules and access rights based on the end-user's user role. Applications are then automatically generated based on the role definitions.
