Additional Product Information

WinTranslator is used in conjunction with WinA&D, QuickCRC or QuickUML to generate class models or CRC cards, respectively, from source code. Object-oriented software written in C++, Java, Delphi or Ada creates UML class models. Code written in C, Pascal, procedural Basic or Fortran generates structure charts. Rich data models are generated from SQL. Diagrams can be automatically organized into multiple diagram levels to easily accommodate very large software systems. Detailed information can be extracted from the code including data types, parameter lists and descriptive comments. WinTranslator commands can be issued interactively, from a text script or through a programming interface. An interactive wizard steps the user through the reengineering process with a series of screens. It then creates and runs a project file for object-oriented or procedural-oriented projects. When imported into WinA&D, diagram objects click to source code.
