Alliance EDI Workbench/400 is an EDI developer?s tool that converts data from ANSI X.12 format to AS/400 DB2/400 format, and from DB2/400 format to ANSI X.12 format. Programmers can use Alliance EDI Workbench/400 to create applications that perform real-time translation of EDI data. This is ideal for situations that require rapid translation of EDI data where batch oriented processing is inadequate. Alliance EDI Workbench/400 is implemented as a service program that can be bound with any ILE program (RPG, Cobol, CLP, etc.) to directly convert data to and from the X12 standard. The Alliance FTP Manager product can be ordered in conjunction with Alliance EDI Workbench/400 for a complete eCommerce communications and translation solution.
