In-Style Software, Inc. was founded in 1997 and has become a leading provider of apparel specific business solutions. We know you want integration to desktop applications. We have written In-Style Software with the understanding that users want access to screen and report information. We allow information from screens and reports to be brought to desktop applications such as Excel or Gantt Charts. Morning reports can automatically be emailed to sales reps, users, vendors or clients. We understand that users want the ability to create their own reports which is why we are integrated with Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence Reporting. We want to make it easy, and we want you to succeed.
We didn’t forget about technology. As an experienced team of developers and analysts from some of apparels largest companies, when we formed In-Style Software we set out to solve the problem of rapid changing technology. Changing technology is why you as a manufacturer end up purchasing a new system every few years and why apparel software vendors spend millions every few years rewriting their software. To solve this problem we chose a business partner called GeneXus (www.GeneXusUsa.com). We developed our software using their development studio which allows us to focus on the business requirements of an apparel company. We know how an Order Entry Screen, Finished Goods PO, CRM or Allocation needs to function. Using GeneXus we have developed our software using business rules, forms and processes which are independent of any specific programming language. So when technology changes from green screens to VB, Java or .Net, we just push a button and our system generates to that platform. Is a new language coming out next year or the following year? It’s ok with us, we just let GeneXus write a new generator and we just push the button!
Flexibility and Customizations are a competitive advantage. We are the only company that openly provides our source code. If you have an IT person or team and feel that one of your competitive advantages is your ability to make screen and process changes, then we have you covered. We will provide you with our source code, the GeneXus Design Studio and our integration methodology which will allow you to make your own customizations while keeping current on new releases.
