Objective Systems is a software products company. We develop and sell products that support international open system interconnection standards. Our software is in use by software developers and engineers on six different continents to produce the API's necessary to achieve interoperability between systems and components.
Our primary focus is on producing software that automates the task of encoding and decoding standardized message types. The message types are formally described using schema languages such as Abstract Syntax Notation 1 (ASN.1) or XML Schema (XSD). ASN.1 has been used to describe protocols such as SNMP, X.509, H.323, and CSTA (among others). XML Schema is now being used to describe a whole new generation of protocols associated with Web Services and other applications.

Our flagship product is ASN1C, an ASN.1 compiler that translates ASN.1 source specifications into C, C++, C# or Java source code. Now available is XBinder™, an XML Schema data binding tool that translates XML Schema specifications into C/C++ code for formatting or parsing XML.
